about her music

Emetres' new direction draws on the lyricism and sensibility of these roots, exploring a soundscape inspired at times by contemporary electronic artists and a strong Latin folk heritage. Her songs tackle feminist themes with a deeply personal approach in songs like Sanity and Mistakes, but also the familiar and nostalgic in Cheo and San Isidro.

debut album ‘cuchibeats’

Last spring, Emetres decided to open a new door, and let the world into her “cuchi world”: a place where vulnerability and love are the main courses, but where harmonies, spoken lyrics and cute beats are also on the menu.

Emetres presents nine songs on her debut album, some written in collaboration with Argentinian producer Emilio Amarú, in a kind of aural collage that shows her most personal side, using different kinds of love as a common thread. Recorded mostly in her improvised home studio, it allows the listener to feel closer than ever to the artist.
